Fitrian Ardiansyah is the Chairman of the Executive Board at IDH (The Sustainable Trade Initiative) of Indonesia. He is also a member of the board of the Partnership for Sustainable Agriculture of Indonesia (PISAgro), member of the regional committee for the Tropical Forest Alliance (TFA / WEF) in Southeast Asia, the program coordinating chairman for LTKL (Sustainable Districts Platform) and Secretary of the SCOPI Executive Board ( Sustainable Coffee Platform of Indonesia).
Previously, he was the Program Director for Climate and Energy, WWF-Indonesia. He is one of the experts and members of the official Indonesian delegation to the UNFCCC, and a board member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). He also actively contributed to the development of RSPO principles and criteria in the early years of the organization.
He conducted his doctoral research at the Australian National University (ANU), where he also obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Management and Development. A bachelor's degree was obtained at the Institute of Technology, Bandung.
