Ilham Bayu Widagdo

Program Officer

Ilham Bayu Widagdo is a final year student of the Master of Science program in Applied Climatology, IPB University after previously obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Applied Meteorology, IPB University in 2017. After graduating from the undergraduate program, Ilham BW has been involved several times as a research assistant on projects and studies.  in climate science and its applications.  Some of these projects include the development of a daily and seasonal weather prediction system for the Sipindo platform powered by SmartSeeds, the preparation of the manuscript for The Second National Communication under UNFCC, Timor Leste, the development of a flood projection model for the Zurich Flood Resilience Alliance program and the development of a weather-based pest prediction model in pepper plantations.  on the G4AW-SpiceUp project.  During the years 2019-2021, Ilham B.W.  actively works at the Directorate of Scientific Publications and Strategic Information-IPB University as a data analyst for strategic studies and other programs related to the achievement of SDGs at IPB University in realizing World Class University.  In addition to his main activities as a data analyst and master's degree student, Ilham B. W. was trusted as an assistant lecturer in the Advanced Climatological Methods course for Postgraduate students at the Meteorology and Geophysics Department, IPB University.
