Abyatar (Koperasi Klasik Beans)

"Abyatar completed his Master of Art in International Leisure and Tourism Studies in 2015-2016. He is the founder of Adena Coffee Indonesia, a position he has held since 2014. Through Adena Coffee, Aby has led projects such as the Kenawat Village Coffee Project in Gayo, Aceh Tengah, and the Sokoria Village Coffee Project in Flores. The vision behind these projects is to empower the economy and social identity of villages and rural areas through a sustainable coffee business. The outputs of these projects include specialty coffee beans from Kenawat and Sokoria Villages, which are distributed globally, as well as improving the living standards of over 200 families in these villages. Adena Coffee has also established itself as a tangible and independent social enterprise.

Additionally, Aby has been a member of the Klasik Beans Cooperative since 2016. In this role, he is involved in the Klasik Beans Experience project. The vision of this project is to present the sustainability values of Klasik Beans Cooperative through coffee tourism and company branding. Outputs include a coffee tourism program as part of the sustainable coffee industry promoted by Klasik Beans, intense partnerships in coffee tourism with Starbucks, Nespresso, and SCA Thailand, and lecturing Indonesian, Thai, and Filipino coffee farmers on coffee plantation development."
