Anak Agung Ayu Chintia Dewi

Program Officer

As a Program Officer at the Sustainable Coffee Platform of Indonesia (SCOPI), Anak Agung Ayu Chintia Dewi is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating sustainability programs, particularly under the ACT! (Accelerating Consumer Transformation and Sustainability in Indonesia) Project. She works closely with government agencies, the private sector, farmer communities, and other key stakeholders to promote sustainable production and responsible consumption in the coffee sector.

Dewi has a strong background in sustainable agricultural supply chains, program management, and social and environmental impact research. Before joining SCOPI, she worked as a Monitoring & Evaluation Consultant at Rainforest Alliance, where she supported the development of impact assessment frameworks and analysed sustainability data to enhance program effectiveness. She was also involved in the AIP-Rural ARISA project, which focused on market system development and improving smallholder farmers’ livelihoods through multi-stakeholder partnerships.

With a Master’s degree in Global Food and Agricultural Business from The University of Adelaide and a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Mataram University, Dewi has a strong academic foundation in supply chains, sustainable farming technologies, and responsible production and consumption. Her research on corn supply chains and agricultural technology adoption has strengthened her expertise in primary and secondary data collection, policy analysis, and evidence-based program management.

Beyond her technical expertise, Dewi has hands-on experience in farmer capacity building, agribusiness development, and marketing strategies for sustainable agriculture. At P4S Kuntum, she assisted farmers in adopting regenerative farming practices, improving market access through partnerships with hotels and restaurants, and developing marketing strategies for agricultural products. Additionally, through her involvement with Agtion and Nyayur Yuks, she has contributed to agricultural education, community empowerment, and digital marketplace initiatives that connect farmers with consumers, improve supply chain efficiency, and promote sustainable food systems.

She also has content creation, photography, and social media management skills, which she has applied in promoting local businesses, farmer initiatives, and sustainability campaigns. Currently based in Jakarta, Dewi continues to contribute to enhancing the sustainability of Indonesia’s coffee sector through research-driven initiatives, strategic partnerships, and innovative program development.
