Activity Description

Various regions in Indonesia have distinctive coffee, some of which have even entered the international market and become one of the leading commodities that bring Indonesia's name to the 4th largest coffee producer in the world.

With the huge potential of coffee in Indonesia, the coffee market opportunity is open. This is a golden opportunity for the Indonesian people to become entrepreneurs in the coffee sector. The huge potential of Indonesia's coffee commodity cannot be wasted. To that end, Media Indonesia in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) presents the 2022 Agroforestry Enchantment Coffee Festival at the Manggala Wanabakti Building, Central Jakarta. The event took place from Tuesday (25/1) to Thursday (27/1). The opening of the coffee festival was attended by Deputy Chairperson of the MPR RI Lestari Moerdijat, Minister of Environment and Forestry Siti Nurbaya, and Media Group CEO Muhammad Mirdal Akib.

The coffee festival is a routine event held to commemorate the anniversary of Media Indonesia. This activity is also proof of Media Group's consistency in advancing the Indonesian coffee industry and especially helping coffee farmers and MSME players in Indonesia.

SCOPI in collaboration with Rainforest Alliance and Rikolto contributed to enliven this festival. The SCOPI team attended this festival to provide an opportunity for all visitors to taste coffee from the SCOPI Master Trainer.
